Doggone Good Worker!

I’m finding it very hard to find good help these days. It has taken a month and a half to get the hardwood floors put in to our home. We were told that it would take a week. And they’re still not even done yet! We keep getting the runaround. One of the guys they had working for them just up and left one day. Not a word spoken. He just gathered his tools and walked. No one has been able to reach him since. Okay okay, so that’s understandable. A couple days delayed we could forgive. But the rest of it has just been a whole lot of fucking nonsense. And we are sick of it and we’re not going to take it anymore!

And so we’ve hired a new guy. His name is Mitch and he is absolutely awesome. We found him in our neighbor’s backyard doing some business on his porch or rather under his porch. Rick, our neighbor was so satisfied with this job he is recommending him to everyone.

Mitch has a great work ethic. Even when he is having a Ruff day he comes to work with a smile. He never complains, he always cleans up before he leaves and he never has a harsh word to say. The only thing he asked is that we leave out a bowl of water for him and if he has to pee or poop he just has to go to the nearest bush and does his thing. No muss no fuss.

Since Orange is the official color for the MS Society, Mitch has honored me by wearing an orange T-shirt. Isn’t he something?

To tell you the truth I’m not even sure that he is a male dog. He may be a bitch. A she dog. It’s very hard to tell from the clothing that he or she wears what is hiding underneath. But I really don’t even care. As long as the job gets done in a timely fashion with professionalism and respectful demeanor. And when this job is done we are going to give him a very good recommendation in the local papers and to all of our neighbors and also a great review on Facebook and twitter. And I think of great tip is in order. We’ve been saving up dinner scraps and meaty bones and I know for a fact that he loves bully sticks which I will order online.

So if anybody needs a really good construction guy we got him right here and will be glad to give out references.

Mitch has also asked that I  tell you about the book that I have written, Potty Mouth. It is on sale now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Author House and other booksellers. It is an inspirational memoir of a woman disabled by MS who faces life’s challenges with courage, wisdom and a profane sense of humor. Mitch gave it two paws up.
